Irwin Mine and Tunneling Supply expands its machining capability with the acquisition of Petra Machine Shop

Irwin Mine and Tunneling Supply expands its machining capability with the acquisition of Petra Machine Shop.  Prior to the acquisition, Petra was responsible for servicing customers in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Kentucky, and Illinois.  Under Irwin, Petra is still servicing the same accounts, but has added Irwin’s customer base to it.  Irwin also utilizes Petra for machined parts for capital equipment.  The shop includes 8 CNC machines, mills, lathes, and drills.
